In Madison, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. Across Wisconsin, delivery fees depend on distance, and hospitals and funeral homes have their own drop-off hours. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. Madison is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Madison follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Christy did the florals for our June 2025 wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. We truly had no idea what we wanted going into the process, and she helped guide us from scratch — walking through inspiration, colors, flower types, and overall vibe until everything felt just right. She was flexible with changes, thoughtful about the details, and incredibly easy to work with. I was slightly obsessed with panda anemones, and she incorporated them beautifully throughout the arrangements. Everything felt cohesive, elegant, and even better than we imagined. The flowers were absolutely stunning and we received so many compliments. We’re so grateful for Christy’s creativity and care — highly recommend Opal Market!

Christy with Opal Market Flowers helped make both my bridal shower and wedding day incredible! I requested a flower bar for my bridal shower and she taught guests how to make a beautiful bouquet step-by-step. This was perfect for guests of all ages - ranging from 7-80 years old. For my wedding flowers, Christy asked tons of questions and really wanted me to love what I chose. She sent me inspiration pictures and was an excellent communicator overall. The flowers turned out even better than I had imagined! Christy went above and beyond with other decor too - bringing cloth for tables and providing candles for tables. I cannot recommend her enough! Christy is an amazing wedding resource.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Christy goes above and beyond! She did the flowers for our wedding ceremony a few months ago and is also doing the flowers for our family celebration coming up. Christy really took the lead with planning, connecting with people to make things happen, she has innovative ideas and she gets it done! I cannot recommend her enough! She knows her business and her industry well and exceptionally manages it! You will not be disappointed booking Opal Market Flowers for your events!

Christy did the florals for my wedding last month, and I was absolutely blown away! She was so patient with me as I explained my vision, and the end result was better than I could have imagined. I HIGHLY recommend Opal Market Flowers for your next big event.

Christy is super kind and worked so well with me as I changed my mind on a few things related to flowers throughout the planning process. She always responded to my messages quickly and I think she might have known my vision even better than I did as the flowers looked better than I could have ever imagined! She also did a magnificent job setting up the arch for our wedding as it turned out beautiful!
